Matthew Phillips – Pastor
Matthew Phillips is a graduate of Berkshire Christian College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology with honors. A passionate and faithful teacher of God's Word, Pastor Matthew believes in expository preaching—explaining the Bible line upon line, precept upon precept, to help people understand and live out God’s truth.
He and his wife, Debra, are blessed with three grown children and four grandchildren, including three teenagers and one young adult.
Known for his fun-loving spirit and genuine love for people, Pastor Matthew enjoys connecting with others and building meaningful relationships. In his free time, he enjoys ping-pong, hiking, kayaking, volleyball, and even winding down with a good Hallmark movie.
our Elders
While our church is congregationally governed, we affirm the New Testament pattern of leadership through a plurality of elders. These men serve as shepherds of the congregation, providing spiritual direction, care, and protection, in keeping with biblical guidance (1 Thessalonians 5:12–13; 1 Timothy 5:17–18; 1 Peter 5:5; Hebrews 13:17).
